Welcome to Nightingales Class!
 

Hello! My name is Mrs Byrne and I am the Nightingale class teacher. The adults in Nightingales Class are myself, Mrs Lee and Miss Smith. Our class is made up of Year 1 and 2 children.

Our school values of Respect, Responsibility and Resilience are very important and we work hard to incorporate these both in and out of the classroom.  Our classroom is a warm, friendly and welcoming environment with lots of lovely learning opportunities. 

​

Throughout the year we will be exploring different topics, whilst also building upon the knowledge we already have.  Some things that we will be delving into include: Water and Land Explorers, The Great Fire of London and Space.

​

Children should bring a water bottle and their book bag to school daily. PE kits can be brought in on a Monday (in a bag) and left on your child’s peg until Friday, this can then be taken home to wash over the weekend. Our PE days are Monday and Wednesday.
